Youngstown State University (YSU) invites applications for the position of Executive Director of the Maag Library. The successful incumbent will embrace new perspectives and lead the library to seize opportunities for collaboration and effective change, establishing a dynamic balance between the traditional academic library and technological innovation. This individual will work with a dedicated team of staff to creatively optimize existing spaces and services integral for the Library as a progressive student-focused academic center. YSU is seeking an Executive Director to bring new and creative ideas to transform and fill open positions within the Library, optimize the skills of the staff, and support professional development opportunities. The chosen candidate will lead, plan, and manage the organization and its resources to ensure the Library excels in the support of scholarship and research for an increasingly vibrant and residential student population. The Executive Director plays a key role in shaping the Maag Library of the future while serving the practical needs of the present.
