Steelite International is seeking a dynamic individual to join our growing Product Management Department.
Candidate should posses analytical, logical, mathematic and problem solving skills as well as outstanding written and oral communication skills. Attention to detail is crucial. Individual must be organized and a self starter with multi-tasking skills. Position is fast pace and candidate would hit the ground running and be ready to gather hands-on experience in every facet of the hospitality tabletop industry. Candidate must be willing to travel.
The Product Manager would be expected to manage product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with factories, designers, finance and quality control to deliver successful products. Position also works with sales and marketing to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. Always ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the company’s overall strategy, goals as well as company mission and values.
Essentials Duties & Responsibilities:
Identify product opportunities whether new or redesigned to meet market needs
Utilize sales, distributor, end user and competitive input to develop new products
Liaise with factories to obtain all product specifications for new product set ups, request samples for photography and sales, forecast opening and ongoing inventory requirements and track delivery progress, ensure quality inspection upon first arrival
International travel to partner factories as the need arises to develop new products, work through production timelines, address quality concerns, and review overall business partnership
Travel to distributors and end users as the need arises to discuss existing customer programs, develop new products, or train on existing product lines.
- Support marketing, sales, and customer service through collaterals and field training guides, noting product features/benefits and competitive comparisons
- Develop both internal and external product training strategies
Establish product pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals
Provide accurate sales forecast for manufacturing
Develop content for product and company marketing materials
Run required daily, weekly, and month ad hoc reports
Maintaining files and internal communication on Portfolio Product Contract Pricing
Education & Experience:
Bachelor degree (Business Administration or Marketing preferred) or equivalent combination of education and similar work experience in merchandising, purchasing, hospitality or related fields. Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite required.
